Why train with Cornwall Psychotherapy?

“the essence of man is social not individual,
both consciously and unconsciously”

S.H. Foulkes

The extent to which we can determine our lives is dependent upon understanding ourselves in relation to others. This is the underpinning attitude of the Cornwall Psychotherapy Practice. The friendly and supportive atmosphere of Cornwall Psychotherapy is created by a group of dedicated therapists and counsellors who will aid students in their development on our challenging and stimulating courses. We seek to foster the pursuit of excellence in both practice and study. Courses will appeal to those wishing to pursue a career in counselling or psychotherapy and to people already involved in health and social care. The courses are designed to help the student meet the demands of working within modern NHS and social care and educational settings.

Some of the modular aspects of the courses will be of particular interest to other professionals seeking to improve their communication and management skills. Students are invited to become student members of the Cornwall Psychotherapy Association. Membership will bring increased access to workshops and other events as well as the benefits of mutual, professional support.
